Grey Design & Development is a privately held real estate investment and development firm focused on the thoughtful renovation, restoration, operation, and long-term ownership of residential properties.
Our work focuses primarily on historic residential buildings, where design, quality, craftsmanship, and longevity matter. We take an owner-operator approach to every project, remaining closely involved from acquisition and planning through execution and ongoing day-to-day management.
We take a long-term view — properties that function well, age gracefully, and contribute positively to their surrounding neighborhoods.
Our approach is intentionally hands-on and deliberately paced. We begin with careful evaluation of each building, its inherent qualities, and its long-term potential. Design decisions are guided by function, respect for architectural significance, and material integrity rather than trend. Renovation and restoration work is approached methodically, with close oversight and an emphasis on craftsmanship and modern functionality.
Once a project is complete, we remain actively involved in its operation. Leasing, maintenance, and ongoing improvements are managed with the same attention as the initial work. We view ownership as a long-term responsibility, not a transaction.
